Edvinas Pukšta is festival programmer, film hunter & selector, industry expert, consultant & juror, member of the European Film Academy, hiker & mountain climber (Kilimanjaro’s Uhuru peak at 5850 m is the highest point), fan of basketball and always curious cinephile. Programmer, scout and member of Selection Committee at the BLACK NIGHTS Film Festival in Tallinn (from 2018) and Program Director of Tartu Love Film Festival TARTUFF (from summer of 2023). Edvinas regularly attends 20 international film festivals around the world since 2001 and watches at least 1200 feature films every year. Previously Edvinas programmed for the Vilnius International Film Festival for 15 years until summer of 2018. Then he was invited as an Independent Expert to join for 3 consecutive years in the Selection Committee of the European Film Awards. First Cut Lab trusted him with three invitations as Industry Expert to share opinions on still unfinished films from Helsinki (2019), Karlovy Vary (2021) and Trieste (2022). Edvinas judged short and feature films as a Jury member in Cannes (CICAE Jury for QUINZAINE DES RÉALISATEURS), Berlin (CICAE Jury for section FORUM), and many other film festivals across the globe.

Edvinas Pukšta je filmski selektor, industrijski ekspert, konsultant i član žirija, član Evropske filmske akademije, planinar (Uhuru vrh Kilimandžara na 5850 m – najviša tačka koju je osvojio), ljubitelj košarke i vječno radoznali cinefil. Od 2018. je programer, skaut i član selekcionog komiteta BLACK NIGHTS Film Festivala u Talinu, a od ljeta 2023. i programski direktor Tartu Love Film Festivala – TARTUFF. Redovno posjećuje 20 međunarodnih filmskih festivala širom svijeta od 2001. godine i godišnje pogleda najmanje 1200 dugometražnih filmova. Prethodno je 15 godina bio programer Vilnius International Film Festivala, do ljeta 2018. Nakon toga, tri uzastopne godine bio je pozvan kao nezavisni ekspert u selekcioni komitet Evropskih filmskih nagrada. Kao industrijski ekspert, tri puta je učestvovao u radu First Cut Lab-a, dijeleći mišljenja o nedovršenim filmovima u Helsinkiju (2019), Karlovim Varima (2021) i Trstu (2022). Edvinas je bio član žirija za kratke i dugometražne filmove u Kanu (CICAE žiri za Quinzaine des Réalisateurs), Berlinu (CICAE žiri za sekciju Forum), kao i na brojnim drugim filmskim festivalima širom svijeta.
