About Montenegro Film Festival
Montenegro Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals in Montenegro, bringing together filmmakers, critics, and cinema enthusiasts each August against the stunning backdrop of Montenegro's coastline. With a rich heritage spanning nearly four decades, the festival serves as a vital platform for showcasing both regional and international cinema, with a particular focus on emerging voices and distinctive artistic visions. The carefully curated program features competitive sections for feature films, student works, and selections from the Adriatic Region Festival Network, alongside non-competitive screenings of recent works by established European directors. Beyond screenings, the festival offers a vibrant atmosphere with masterclasses, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the art of filmmaking.
