Having started his career as an assistant producer in 2008 in the News and Sports Department at TRT, Faruk Güven has produced over 100 episodes of news, sport, economy and documentary programmes. He holds a Master's in Business and Finance and an MFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. From 2014 he worked as Executive Producer at TRT Television, completing more than ten TV movies, miniseries and films. Between 2017 and 2020 he was Coproduction Manager at TRT and now continues as Head of TRT Cinema and Coproductions. He launched Türkiye's biggest script development and coproduction market, 12 Punto, in 2019. He has served as a juror for the International Emmy Awards and Rose d'Or, is a member of the European Film Academy and was selected to the EBU TV Committee in 2025.

Faruk Given karijeru je počeo 2008. godine kao asistent producenta u informativno-sportskoj redakciji TRT-a, gdje je producirao više od 100 epizoda informativnog, sportskog, ekonomskog i dokumentarnog programa. Magistrirao je poslovanje i finansije, a potom i filmsku režiju na New York Film Academy u Los Anđelesu. Od 2014. bio je izvršni producent TRT Televizije, gdje je završio više od deset televizijskih filmova, mini-serija i filmova. Od 2017. do 2020. bio je menadžer koprodukcija TRT-a, a danas rukovodi sektorom TRT Sinema i koprodukcija. Godine 2019. pokrenuo je najveće tursko tržište razvoja scenarija i koprodukcija 12 Punto. Bio je član žirija International Emmy Awards i Rose d'Or, član je Evropske filmske akademije, a 2025. izabran je u TV komitet EBU-a.
