Ilinka Teodorescu graduated from The University of Toronto with an honours degree in Film Studies and Comparative Literature in 2012. Following her studies, she moved to Berlin, working in film sales at M-appeal World Sales between 2013-2017. She then relocated to Bucharest, joining the Voodoo Films team, a leading national distribution and sales company led by Cristian Mungiu, where she handled acquisitions, sales and distribution. During this time, she was also the film coordinator and co-head of industry for Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest and the American Independent Film festivals. Since 2022, she has been the International Relations representative at the Romanian Film Centre, handling promotion and the RFC's involvement with Eurimages and the SEE Cinema network.

Ilinka Teodorescu je diplomirala na Univerzitetu u Torontu na odsjeku za filmske studije i komparativnu književnosti 2012. godine. Nakon studija, preselila se u Berlin, radeći u kompaniji u M-appeal World Sales između 2013-2017. godine. Zatim se preselila u Bukurešt, pridruživši se timu Voodoo Films-a, vodeće nacionalne distribucijske i prodajne kompanije koju vodi Cristian Mungiu, gdje se bavila akvizicijama, prodajom i distribucijom.
