Jonid Jorgji was born in Tirana in 1986. He studied Film and then Politics. Since July 2025, he has been the Director of the Albanian National Center for Cinematography (QKK). Previously, he directed the Creative Industries Agency, where he directed a number of key cultural and creative projects, such as the Agimi Art Center, the Maks Velo Cinema, the Tirana Film Office, Microfolie Tirana, the Tirana Art Cooperative and other initiatives that support the creative economy and the ecosystem of creative industries in the city. Jonid has an extensive experience in the film industry. Since 2009, he has been President of the Association of Young Albanian Filmmakers, where he is committed to empowering young artists and supporting their creativity. In 2016, Jonid founded a company for the production and distribution of audiovisual materials, through which he has produced and directed films, documentaries, commercials and more. He also worked in the media for over a decade. His extensive experience in the film industry and commitment to developing creative talent are key drivers in his leadership in the Albanian cultural scene. Over the past decade, Jonid has actively contributed to shaping cultural, social and educational policies in Albania.

Jonid Jorgji rođen je u Tirani 1986. godine. Studirao je film, a zatim političke nauke. Od jula 2025. direktor je Nacionalnog centra za kinematografiju Albanije (QKK). Ranije je bio na čelu Agencije za kreativne industrije, gdje je realizovao niz značajnih kulturnih i kreativnih projekata, među kojima su Agimi Art Center, Kino Maks Velo, Tirana Film Office, Microfolie Tirana, Tirana Art Cooperative i druge inicijative koje podržavaju kreativnu ekonomiju i ekosistem kreativnih industrija u gradu. Jonid ima bogato iskustvo u filmskoj industriji. Od 2009. predsjednik je Udruženja mladih albanskih filmskih stvaralaca, posvećen osnaživanju mladih umjetnika i podršci njihovoj kreativnosti. Godine 2016. osnovao je kompaniju za produkciju i distribuciju audiovizuelnih materijala, kroz koju je producirao i režirao filmove, dokumentarce, reklame i druge sadržaje. Takođe je više od decenije radio u medijima. Njegovo veliko iskustvo u filmskoj industriji i posvećenost razvoju kreativnih talenata glavni su pokretači njegovog liderstva na albanskoj kulturnoj sceni. Tokom posljednje decenije aktivno je doprinosio oblikovanju kulturnih, socijalnih i obrazovnih politika u Albaniji.
