Peter D. Todorov, a Bulgarian national, is an experienced professional and a leading name in the Bulgarian film industry. Currently serving as the Executive Director at the National Film Centre since February 2022, he oversees the national film strategic initiatives and operations, including national film budget allocation and distribution. In his previous roles, during the period of March 2018 to February 2022, Todorov served as the Producer and Organiser at DOC AND FISH Ltd, where he successfully managed and completed various projects, as well as organised the „DOCK“ International Film Festival in the city of Burgas. Notable projects under his guidance include also co-producing „FINDING HOME” – an award-winning and selected at prestigious film festivals. Before taking the role at the National Film Center, Peter Todorov also acted as Producer, Distributor, and Exhibitor at EURO FILMS Ltd. He played a key role in distributing European and Bulgarian films to Bulgarian cinemas and securing grants for various cinemas for digitalising their equipment. Additionally, he served as an External Expert for EURIMAGES and Education, Audio-Visual, and Culture Executive Agency programs. In his role as Program Director at CINEPLEX from September 2006 to October 2011, he managed HR, and budgets, and successfully integrated the cinema into the Europa Cinemas Network.

Peter D. Todorov je iskusan stručnjak i vodeće ime bugarske filmske industrije. Trenutno obavlja funkciju izvršnog direktora Nacionalnog filmskog centra od februara 2022. godine, gdje nadzire nacionalne filmske strateške inicijative i operacije, uključujući raspodelu i distribuciju nacionalnog filmskog budžeta. U svojim prethodnim angažmanima, tokom perioda od marta 2018. do februara 2022. godine, Todorov je radio kao producent i organizator u DOC AND FISH Ltd, gdje je uspješno upravljao i završio različite projekte, kao i organizovao međunarodni filmski festival „DOCK“ u gradu Burgasu. Značajni projekti pod njegovim rukovođenjem uključuju i koproduciranje filma „FINDING HOME“ – nagrađivanog filma koji je selektovan na prestižnim filmskim festivalima. Peter Todorov je takođe radio kao producent, distributer i prikazivač u EURO FILMS Ltd. Odigrao je ključnu ulogu u distribuciji evropskih i bugarskih filmova u bugarske bioskope i obezbjeđivanju grantova različitim bioskopima za digitalizaciju njihove opreme. Dodatno, služio je kao spoljašnji stručnjak za EURIMAGES i programe Agencije za obrazovanje, audiovizuelni program i kulturu. U svojoj ulozi programskog direktora u CINEPLEX-u od septembra 2006. do oktobra 2011. godine, upravljao je ljudskim resursima i budžetima, i uspešno integrisao bioskop u mrežu Europa Cinemas.
