The French Embassy and French Institute in Montenegro, in partnership with the Film Centre of Montenegro, are inviting female filmmakers to apply for the Female Filmmakers Workshop, taking place as part of the third edition of the industry platform Montenegro Film Rendezvous.

The programme runs from 26 to 29 August 2026 in Herceg Novi, within the framework of the Herceg Novi Film Festival – Montenegro Film Festival.

The workshop is open to female directors and producers from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Armenia, and Moldova who are seeking international co-production partners and funding support for film projects currently in development.

The workshop will also bring together French producers, offering participants direct access to the Francophone film market and a range of international co-production incentive programmes.

Applications must include:

●      A short project presentation (maximum 2 pages)

●      Brief biographies of the director and producer

All documents must be submitted in English.
