The Film Centre of Montenegro (FCCG) is pleased to announce that the third edition of Montenegro Film Rendezvous (MFRV) will take place from 22nd to 25th August 2026 in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.

Now in its third year, Montenegro Film Rendezvous has established itself as the leading co-production industry platform in the Western Balkans, a dedicated space where filmmakers, producers, and decision-makers from the region meet with their European counterparts to develop projects, forge partnerships, and explore financing opportunities. The event takes place within the framework of the Montenegro Film Festival (FFHN) and reflects the growing ambition of the Montenegrin film industry to integrate fully into European production networks.

MFRV 2026 will bring together projects across development, work-in-progress, and gap financing, offering structured pitching sessions, one-on-one meetings, and closed screenings for international festival selectors and commissioners. The programme is designed to create concrete pathways between Western Balkan projects and European co-producers, distributors, and funds, supporting the development of a sustainable regional film industry with strong international reach.

The event is part of Montenegro's ongoing commitment to building co-production capacity at both national and regional levels. MFRV serves as a key platform within this framework, connecting the Montenegrin film sector with the wider European audiovisual community.
