BIOGRAPHY
Maša Šarović was born in 1993 in Subotica. She graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where she studied film directing. Her short film „City“ (2016) premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival, after which it was screened and awarded at many film festivals. Her second short film Hottest Summer Days (2018) premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival and traveled to many festivals: FID Marseille, LjubljanaFEKK (Grand Prix for Best Film), Winterthur International Short Film Festival, TAU Student Film Festival Tel Aviv, Early Bird Film Festival, etc. In 2019, she participated in The Factory project of the Cannes Festival, where she directed a segment of the omnibus shot in Sarajevo, called "In your hands". She is currently finishing her master's studies at Faculty of dramatic arts and developing her first feature film.
