Nemanja Bečanović (1977) is a film director and producer. Graduated from specialist studies in film and television directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, and received his master's degree in 2022 from the production study program. His debut feature film "The Ascent" premiered in 2011 in the main program of the Saravevo Film Festival. Announced at the Raindance festival as a film with "the most shocking ending since the film Seven", it was declared the third best European film of that year by the editor-in-chief of Cineuropa, Domenico La Porta. In 2023, he finished the second long-awaited feature film "Supermarket", which had its premiere at the A category festival - Tallinn Black Night Film Festival in the main program of the Rebels Without Cause Competition selection, where provocative and experimental films of independent production are shown. He taught at FDU in Cetinje and at the University of Donja Gorica in the study program Film and Media. From 2017 to 2022, head of archives at the Montenegrin Cinematheque. In addition to his two feature films, he edited television documentaries and composed music for the feature film "Between Day and Night" (2018) and the theater plays "At Noah's Ark at Eight" (2016), "Ivo Vizin - Captain of Dreams" (2018), " The Case of the Broken Vase (2024). Wrote music reviews for "Monitor", "Pobjeda" and "Vijesti". Winner of the award of the Montenegro Film Festival in Herceg Novi for his contribution to Montenegrin cinematography.

Nemanja Beanovi� (1977) je filmski re�iser i producent. Diplomirao je na specijalisti?kim studijama filmske i televizijske re�ije na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti na Cetinju, a magistrirao 2022. godine na studijskom programu produkcija. Njegov debitantski igrani film "Uspon" premijerno je prikazan 2011. godine u glavnom programu Saravevo Film Festivala. Najavljen na festivalu Raindance kao film sa "naj�okantnijim zavr�etkom od filma Sedam", progla�en je tre?im najboljim evropskim filmom te godine od strane glavnog urednika Cineurope Domenico La Porta. Godine 2023. zavr�io je drugi dugo o?ekivani dugometra�ni igrani film "Supermarket", koji je premijerno prikazan na festivalu A kategorije - Tallinn Black Night Film Festival u glavnom programu takmi?arske selekcije Pobunjenici bez razloga, gde se prikazuju provokativni i eksperimentalni filmovi nezavisne produkcije. Predavao je na FDU na Cetinju i na Univerzitetu u Donjoj Gorici na studijskom programu Film i mediji. Od 2017. do 2022. godine, �ef arhiva u Crnogorskoj kinoteci. Pored svoja dva igrana filma, montirao je televizijske dokumentarne filmove i komponovao muziku za igrani film "Izme?u dana i no?i" (2018) i pozori�ne predstave "U Nojevoj barci u osam" (2016), "Ivo Vizin - kapetan snova" (2018), "Slu?aj slomljene vaze" (2024). Napisao muzi?ke kritike za "Monitor", "Pobjeda" i "Vijesti". Dobitnik je nagrade Crnogorskog filmskog festivala u Herceg Novom za doprinos crnogorskoj kinematografiji.
