About a Brother follows Luka (29), a struggling musician and perpetual student, filmed over the course of a year by his older brother, who is also the director. Initially disconnected, the two are brought into a tense process in which the older brother pushes Luka to confront himself, grow up, and seek independence within a rigid Balkan family structure.
