Logline:
High school students are faced with challenging situation of confronting a moral dilemma about greed and moral transgressions: one of their classmates stole money collected for a schoolmate's prom night. Set in the classroom, the film scrutinizes the erosion of moral norms in modern times Montenegrin society, the Balkan transition, societal disparities.
Synopsis:
The story unfolds in two acts: Act 1: The story takes place in a classroom, where the teacher and the students are trying to find the missing money. The teacher's pedagogical approach clashes with the School Director's threat-laden quest for the culprit. Act 2: At a parents' meeting, contrasting attitudes emerge. Some parents downplay the event and suggest compromises, while the professor stresses moral analysis. This sharp contrast intensifies the drama, testing adult morality. A confession of guilt triggers an emotional catharsis, culminating in an attempted murder of thief, infusing the tale with echoes of ancient dramatic complexity.
