Synopsis:
At 83, acclaimed French musician Janko Nilović, with Montenegrin heritage (but born in Istanbul), accepts an invitation to hold a concert in his homeland for the first time. In his quest for self-discovery, he embarks on a transformative journey from Paris to Montenegro, revisiting his youth and facing the risk of losing it all. Widely known as the winner of the Grammy Award in 2010, Nilović is a celebrated composer, arranger, and producer, sampled by artists like Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Sheeba, and Dr. Dre. Although his extensive musical career has never professionally engaged with Montenegro, despite health challenges (recovering from cancer) and family objections, Janko’s determination propels him on this emotional journey.
