Dušan Kovačević
BIOGRAPHY
Dušan Kovačević was born in 1981 in Podgorica. He graduated from Academy of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje in 2004. From 2019 to 2023 he was Artistic Director of City Theatre Podgorica. He is a permanent member of the National Theatre of Montenegro. He has won several national and international awards in the theatre and played about fifty roles on stage. As a producer, Dušan began to deal with the independent theatre production in 2012. With a performance of "Machado" by Goran Ćetković, he had experienced considerable success in Montenegro and the region. Dušan also produced short-form series “Krle from the ground floor", which was broadcasted on Radio Television of Montenegro. He produced the first Montenegrin sitcom called "Dojč Caffe” (32 episodes), broadcasted on RTCG and sold to many regional TV broadcasters. He co produced the second season of the very popular regional TV series “Besa” and feature films “A Real Story”(Serbia), “Death of the Little Match Girl” (Croatia) and “Next to Us”(Serbia). He also produced, wrote and directed several advertising and music videos.
