BIOGRAPHY
Marija Perović is the first female director for film and TV in history of Montenegro, graduated film directing at Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade. Marija is a professor of Film and TV directing, at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, in Cetinje, University of Montenegro. Her film „Breasts“ was the Montenegrian candidate for the Academy Award, Oscar. Director and co-scriptwriter of three awarded feature films. Her second feature Look at me awarded for best directing of first or second movie -Alexandria Film Festival, Egypt-2009. She is director and producer of one awarded mini series at Seul International Drama Award festival -2019, Seul South Korea.Director of three TV series produced in Serba and Croatia.One of the directors of two remake world popular TV series adapted for regions market, produced by Emotion, Serbia.One of the directors of Vila Maria, 170 episodes, first Croatian telenovella, produced by AVA. She was director in more than 350 TV productions, various genres - from educational to variety and drama.(RTS Belgrade, TVCG Podgorica, TV IN Podgorica, TV Avala Belgrade, TV FOX Belgrade),numerous industrial, advertising and promo shorts.
