BIOGRAPHY

Oliver Sertić (born in Požega, 1979) is a producer and festival selector primarily focused on documentary films. He has produced around 30 feature-length and short documentaries and experimental films, screened at over 300 international festivals. He is the founder of Restart, where he works as a producer, editor in the distribution department, and one of the tutors at the Documentary Film School. For fifteen years he worked in various media as a journalist, editor and cultural event organizer. He has collaborated with numerous film festivals in the region as PR, selector, producer and advisor (Zagreb Film Festival, ZagrebDox, Human Rights Film Festival, DokuFest, Moldox, Supetar Super Film Festival, RAF). Since 2007 he has been the programme selector for the Liburnia Film Festival in Opatija, where he served as director from 2012 to 2020.

Oliver Sertić (rođen u Požegi, 1979) producent je i festivalski selektor prvenstveno posvećen dokumentarnom filmu. Producirao je oko 30 dugometražnih i kratkih dokumentarnih i eksperimentalnih filmova, prikazanih na više od 300 međunarodnih festivala. Osnivač je Restarta, gdje radi kao producent, urednik u sektoru distribucije i jedan od mentora Škole dokumentarnog filma. Petnaest godina radio je u različitim medijima kao novinar, urednik i organizator kulturnih događaja. Sarađivao je sa brojnim festivalima u regionu kao PR, selektor, producent i savjetnik (Zagreb Film Festival, ZagrebDox, Human Rights Film Festival, DokuFest, Moldox, Supetar Super Film Festival, RAF). Od 2007. godine programski je selektor Liburnia Film Festivala u Opatiji, čiji je direktor bio od 2012. do 2020.
