BIOGRAPHY

Pavle Simonović graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, (Directing for Film and Television). As an assistant director, he worked on numerous projects. He was a freelancer until 2016, when he received the formal status of an Independent Artist. During that period, he worked as a director, editor, assistant director on numerous projects in the country and the region. Since 2017, he has been a permanent member of the NGO “Dramski Studio Prazan Prostor”, where he participates in the creation of projects related to the production and development of the independent cultural scene in Montenegro. In 2016, he directed his debut feature film “Lowdown”. In 2021, he started a Film School for the Young. In 2024, he was appointed as the Director of the Montenegrin Cinematheque.
